Message	I think it was right at 8000 but I don't remeber. That has been a few years ago and the tach is not exact. I wasn't looking at the tach at 200 mph. As far as the lifters, I was told 8400 is borderlining but Mike Smith is working on a new set of cams and solid lifters for the 300 z. Some head work is involved because of some maching and redoing some oil ports. I am not sure I will ever try 200 mph again. The road is going by way to fast and I just had my motor rebuilt for but the risk. I did it, its done, no more. I also can't find the right tire to do it. I want a race or auto cross tire with minimal tread but can't find one with the speed rating. I don't drive my car 100 miles a year and sure don't in the rain so I don't need the tread.
